Welcome. I am a candidate for State College School Board and the mother of two recent graduates (2007, 2009) from State High. I have volunteered in the district's schools for 14 years, am committed to community service, and have business experience. I stand for Accountability, Balance, and Common Sense.

- Accountability: I believe in open government that is accountable. I would encourage and seek public input, strive for achieving consensus, and make decisions based on researched facts and community input.
- Balance: There must be a balance between our educational needs and our taxes. I am actively involved in running my husband's local business so I understand the bottom line, balancing expenses and revenue. In addition, living in our school district must remain affordable to our diverse population.
- Common Sense: To maintain our excellence in education and our assets, we need to spend wisely, be creative with our available resources, and use flexibility to meet future needs. As a board member, I would be innovative, while using common sense to preserve the balance.
